Employee Engagement Training
We offer in-person and online employee engagement training programs that teach leaders how to grow and build engaged teams.
Becoming an Engaging Leader is a Skill that Can Be Learned
DecisionWise helps you with industry-leading expertise to increase employee engagement within your organization. We offer corporate training to help your leaders and managers learn more about how they can become engaging leaders.
Our standard Employee ENGAGEMENT MAGIC® training is an interactive in-person workshop designed to increase engagement by helping participants understand, first, where they find meaning and purpose in their job, and, second, how they can build engagement in others. We also offer an online version of this main course for those who need different delivery options.
Our ENGAGEMENT MAGIC® Methodology
After gathering and analyzing over two decades of employee engagement survey responses and numerous psychological studies, we discovered five basic keys that are associated with high levels of employee engagement. These keys are: meaning, autonomy, growth, impact, and connection, (i.e., M-A-G-I-C). Since we are all different, each of these keys plays a unique role in how engaged we are in our work (and life). Our Employee ENGAGEMENT MAGIC® training teaches managers and employees how to leverage the five MAGIC keys to boost their own engagement and engage their teams to achieve greater results.
What is Your Current, Personal Level of Engagement?
Before a workshop or in connection with an online seminar, each participant completes an online ENGAGEMENT MAGIC self-assessment. This tool consists of 35 items that measure the overall level of engagement and satisfaction an individual experiences in their job. The self-assessment provides a new level of insight into what really matters to an employee and helps train them to become engaged. An individual’s results are used during the workshop to help them create their own personalized employee engagement action plan.
Online Learning Options for Remote Workforces
Our online course takes approximately two hours to complete and is a derivative of our one-day live interactive workshop. It is designed to increase engagement by helping participants understand where they find their passion, meaning, and drive and apply it to their jobs.
The results from their Employee ENGAGEMENT MAGIC® self-assessment are provided during the session and are used to help create a personal engagement action plans. Learning activities, games, and videos help participants internalize each concept while allowing time to discuss and debate ideas in small groups. Finally, managers are provided practical ideas and activities to use with their own employees to boost engagement including how to conduct a one-on-one engagement interview with their employees.

Looking for Ways to Help a Specific Team? Try our ENGAGEMENT MAGIC Team Assessment
Based on the ENGAGEMENT MAGIC® model and over two decades of research, this assessment provides a comprehensive analysis of team strengths and areas for improvement. Its purpose is to enhance understanding of how a team engages in a common goal, meaning whether the team and every team member brings his or her spirit (attitude, energy, excitement), heart (love, passion), mind (intellect, curiosity, thinking, innovation), and hands (effort, action, productivity, determination) to that common objective.
